Looking for a larger lathe

I got into woodturning last year with a Jet mini lathe, and joined COW.  I have really enjoyed turning bowls and other items, and am in the market for a large lathe (not a midi).  If anyone has one, or knows of anyone who  has one, that I might purchase used, I'd really love to hear from you.  Please give me a call  or send an email back to me.

    Thanks.

Have you considered looking for a vintage American amde althe by the likes of Oliver, powermatic, Delta, General or the like? Most of them are limited to 12 inches of Swing but they are often very affordable and can make great lathes.

I have considered all types to date.  Haven't found much for sale though.  I have checked Craigslist mainly.  This is why i thought of reaching out to COW.  If anyone has any better sources, I'm all ears.

IRS auctions sometimes has older althes for sale. You might also join OWWM (Old Woodworking machines)

Just be aware that OWWM does not allow discussion of Asian machinery on their site.
